Regional Events That Are Accelerating Evangelism

We are passionate about helping believers in New England connect to accelerate evangelism and encourage one another. The following are a list of upcoming events throughout New England:

VISION NEW ENGLAND EVENTS:

New England Faith & Justice Summit on Reentry Support

October 5; 9:00am - 3:30pm

Immanuel Church, Chelmsford, MA

Whether you are just starting to learn, or are already engaged, the New England Faith & Justice Summit on Reentry Support is a space where faith-motivated women and men can connect, learn, explore possibilities and be refreshed and equipped for the work ahead.  You'll hear inspiring stories from ministry leaders and former inmates, learn about the critical role you and your church can have in reentry support, and dialogue about top-priority issues that will accelerate reentry support ministry in New England.

We are connecting ministry and marketplace leaders across race, gender, age, denomination, tradition and networks to create a "network of networks" that foster sharing, learning and collaboration.

 

Executive Pastors Forum

November 6; 10:00am - 3:00pm

Lifesong Church, Sutton, MA

Presentations on priority topics lead into discussions that draw from each other's experience and insight.  Executive Pastors from throughout New England meet twice per year to learn from, encourage and build connections with each other that will be mutually beneficial throughout the year. Lunch will be provided.

THRIVE Cape Cod

March 13-14, 2020

This fourth annual THRIVE is a result of a partnership between Vision New England and Cape Cod pastors, and brings together the Church on Cape Cod to focus on local Cape issues, with local Cape solutions and ministry responses.

Large Church Pastors Forum

March 15-17, 2020

This two and a half day session for senior and lead pastors focuses on prayer, peer learning, networking, sharing and collaborating to accelerate evangelism in larger churches.

This day long event will feature speakers and panelists discussing the Church's role in addressing a variety of issues that prevent people from experiencing the fullness of life God intends for them.

Association Leader Gathering

May 5-6, 2020

This event brings ministry and marketplace leaders together with a heavy focus on networking, sharing the stories of what God is doing around New England, peer learning, prayer and collaborating to solve the biggest challenges in New England that can only be solved by following God's lead together.

REGIONAL NEW ENGLAND EVENTS:

10 Days of Prayer

September 29 - October 9

10 Days is a prayer meeting for your whole city. The goal is for a season where Jesus Christ is the focus of every heart in your city for 10 entire days! It’s celebrated simultaneously in cities around the world on an annual basis.  40 cities participated in 2018 in the USA, UK, and Africa. 10 Days is a tangible step of obedience toward the answer to Jesus’ prayer in John 17:21: “Let them be one as we are one.”  This is about seeing Jesus receive the answer to His dying wish, for the John 17 unity of His followers. 

40 Days of Love: RI Region

September 29 - November 10

Unite with other Churches for 40 Days of praying, caring, and sharing the gospel to transform our RI region. During the six weeks, you will have the opportunity to: 

  -  Gather in United Prayer with others throughout Rhode Island in multiple locations over multiple days.

  -  Pray specifically for those in your circle of influence who need to know the hope we find in Jesus.

  -  Care for others in practical and proactive ways as God brings the opportunity.

  -  Engage in gospel conversations with friends and family that you have been praying for.

Iron Sharpens Iron Marriage Conference

Join hundreds of couples from throughout the region and choose from twelve different seminars at each conference in a shortened one-day format.

 

Relate Boston
October 8; 8:00am - 4:30pm

The 2019 Relate One Day event, brought to you in partnership with ARC (Association of Related Churches), will provide an invaluable opportunity for us to gather together for building relationships, learning from impactful leaders, having fun, and refueling.

Hope for the Children of Haiti: Amy Grant Concert

October 18

Lowell Memorial Auditorium; Lowell, MA

Country and gospel singer Amy Grant is performing a one night benefit to raise funds to minister to children in Haiti, the poorest country in our hemisphere and still suffering from effects of the earthquake on top of a turbulent history.

Imagine Forum: New England

October 19; 9:00am - 2:30pm

Explore what it looks like for ordinary churches to become missional whole-life disciples in the places He sends us throughout the week—in our workplaces, in our schools, in our neighborhoods—on our everyday“Frontlines.” Keynote speaker, Neil Hudson, brings a wealth of wisdom gained by working with hundreds of leaders, both in the UK and around the world, who want their churches to become whole-life disciple-making communities.

Good Samaritan Network: Church Orientation Training on Addiction

October 19; 9:00am - 2:30pm

Shiloh Church; Manchester, NH

The Good Samaritan Network is equipping and activating NH churches to respond to the addiction crisis and collaborate with every available resource. This session will explain the continuum of care, how to develop a plan based on your church's resources, successful models that are working, and share other resources to support your ministry in this vital space.

Formation Conference

October 22 - October 24

Christ Chapel; Centerville, MA

Formation Missions is offering a three-day conference for church pastors to be refreshed and encouraged. Participants will be equipped through experts in their fields and resourced with practical tools to create healthy cultures within the context of both pastoral and ministry leadership. Daily roundtable sessions are aimed at collaboration and forging relationships.

Billy Graham Center GC2 Summit: Facing Hard Truths & Challenges of Pastoral Ministry

History and the Bible show us that for generations leaders in the church have wrestled with issues of burnout, mental illness, and personal and congregational care. But history also shows that God heals, and that he cares. The church throughout the generations is a beacon of hope that God intervenes to redeem and restore all the places in our leadership that need renewal. This Summit will show we are not alone, and that healing is possible.

Christina's House Seventh Annual Ball and Auction

December 7

Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame; Springfield, MA

Annual fundraiser to support Christina's house which provides transitional housing for women and their children but more importantly offers and provides emotional, spiritual, physical support, and education as they transition from homelessness to permanent, stable living environments.
