WHAT WE DO

Our strategic priorities

A single strategy that is accelerating evangelism across New England. When the Church works in unity, makes disciples, and does justice, we can share Jesus in impactful ways — and lives and all of New England can be transformed.

PRIORITY ONE

Foster Unity

John 17:21

Churches working as one body — the Church's "superpower," and a visible testimony to the world.

HOW WE DO IT

We convene pastors and ministries, catalyze collaboration, cross-pollinate what God is doing across traditions, and build the capacity of regional networks — so leaders can function as the Church in a region, not just churches in a region. We provide training, coaching, mentoring, consulting, and the space to collaborate and learn from peers and subject matter experts. Our current target is to build and support twenty regional networks across New England.

NETWORKS VNE SUPPORTS INCLUDE:

Senior and lead pastors · Denomination leaders · Disability ministry leaders  · Discipleship pastors · Early career pastors · Executive pastors · Lay leaders · Mission pastors · Regional Pastor Networks · Women in Leadership

PRIORITY TWO

Make Disciples

Matthew 28:19

Helping people to grow to be like Jesus — our primary mission and Jesus's growth strategy for His Church.

SOME OF WHAT WE EQUIP LEADERS TO DO

  • Cultivate pathways that invite people into disciple making.

  • Move people from being consumers to being disciples.

  • Equip leaders with effective tools and a common language.

  • Build a culture of disciple making — not just programs or strategies.

  • NH Traffick Free Coalition - working with leaders of anti-trafficking ministries to collaborate, raise awareness, educate, and equip.

  • Prison Ministry - coming alongside the incarcerated and their families, sharing the hope of Jesus Christ.
