GBC desires to cultivate a culture of multiplication where every believer understands that God has uniquely gifted and positioned them to influence others for Christ. In our everyday faithfulness, every believer has a role in God's mission of multiplication. The day will feature Keynote Speaker Justin Kendrick of Vox Church, live worship, breakouts, and a closing session led by Pastor Zak Stevens. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. for check-in and fellowship. Breakfast pastries and coffee will be served, and lunch will also be provided. Childcare is not available. Registration is $10, and attendees select one breakout session when they register. BREAKOUT SESSIONS Slave to Sower — God has given each of us something to sow, but there are plenty of things that can keep us from ever doing it. Fear, comfort, busyness, approval, performance, control and self-reliance can all keep us stuck. This breakout looks at what enslaves us, the lies underneath them, and how we can live in the freedom God has given us. Man of Valor — Valor is more than courage in a crisis. It is the strength to do what is right when it is difficult, costly, inconvenient, or unseen. A man of valor isn't a perfect man, but he is a man willing to stand firm and take responsibility. This breakout challenges men to consider the kind of man they are becoming through the choices they make every day. Woman of Virtue — There are endless opportunities for women to compare themselves to one another, and they often feel they have come up short. This breakout isn't another impossible list of things we should be doing. It's about the character God develops in a faithful woman: wisdom, courage, humility, kindness, endurance and obedience. Parenting in Trust: Discernment and Discipline — How a Christ-centered parent seeks God's truth, develops discernment through prayer and community, and lovingly disciplines their children in a way that points them to Jesus. GBC and Beyond — God's work through GBC isn't supposed to stop at GBC. This breakout helps us understand the bigger vision behind Be the Church and church planting, and gives practical ways we can be part of helping local churches grow. Rediscovering Joy — Sometimes we don't lose our faith, we just realize we've lost a lot of our joy. This breakout looks at what biblical joy actually is and what it isn't, and at the kind of joy that can exist right alongside disappointment, stress and hard circumstances.
