About the Event
How might we show the love of Jesus to Afghans today? What do we need to understand about Afghans to serve as ambassadors of Christ? What does it mean to serve Afghans one year after their arrival in the US? Since the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan last summer, thousands of Afghans have relocated both to the US and other countries. Many churches and organizations have sought to respond to this crisis.
What? An interactive workshop guided by a senior Afghan Christian leader, a cross-cultural worker, and experts with first-hand experience in Afghanistan. Learn about contexts and perspectives for ministry to Afghans today. Discuss ways to engage in this vital opportunity for refugee resettlement both here in New England and farther afield.
