FOR CHURCHES & MINISTRIES
Consulting for the whole Church
A small, vetted team of consultants serving the 1,000+ congregations, camps, campus ministries, and nonprofits in our network. Leaders working toward unity, discipleship, and justice never have to work through a hard season alone.
Vision New England has spent nearly 140 years as a convener, capacity builder, catalyst, and cross-pollinator for renewing New England's ministry leaders. This consulting exists to put the same posture into the hands of any leader, church or otherwise, facing a specific present challenge.

Each of our consultants brings a specific area of focus, so leaders can quickly find the right fit for the challenge in front of them and start with a conversation, not a form.

NAVIGATING CHANGE, SPIRITUAL FORMATION & VISION CLARITY, STRATEGIC DIRECTION
Greg Mozel
Sr. Pastor, First Baptist Church Amherst
Greg has served as Lead Pastor of First Baptist Church Amherst for 25+ years, casting church-wide vision, preaching weekly, and mentoring leadership teams through two decades of change. A graduate of Western Evangelical Seminary, George Fox University, and Portland State University, he brings both academic depth and decades of pastoral practice to his consulting work. Greg serves as a church consultant for the Lilly Endowment and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and has taught leadership internationally at the International Leadership Academy in Moscow as well as at George Fox University. That combination of long-tenured pastoral experience and formal consulting work gives him a steady hand for congregations clarifying vision and direction, navigating change without losing trust, and moving from passive attendance toward intentional, reproducible disciple-making cultures.

NAVIGATING CHANGE, STRUCTURES FOR GROWTH, PASTORAL MENTORING
Bishop Larry Ward
Founder, Wards of Wisdom · Sr. Pastor Emeritus, Abundant Life
Bishop Ward has served as Senior Pastor of Abundant Life Church in Cambridge since 1994, and as Bishop and Presiding Elder of the New England District of the United Pentecostal Council of the Assemblies of God — mentoring pastors across the district and offering a trusted, confidential space for leaders to talk through challenges and strategize next steps. He is active with the Cambridge Black Pastors Alliance and the Black Ministerial Alliance of Greater Boston, and chaired Vision New England's board, bringing firsthand governance and cross-denominational network experience to every engagement. He is a certified trainer for the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship, and co-founded Wards of Wisdom with his wife of 33 years, Rev. Dr. Virginia Ward — a consulting practice built specifically to help churches and leaders navigate change and put structures in place that can sustain real growth. His background spans urban ministry, cross-denominational networks, and organizational sustainability.
