Charles Galda

Charles is a life-long New Englander, relocating to New Hampshire after after living in southwestern Connecticut for fifty years. Charles was most recently a senior technology and finance executive at GE Capital, and before that held various leadership positions at PepsiCo and Transamerica.


Charles and his wife Kristyn reside in New Hampshire, worship at First Baptist Hampton Falls, and have two adult children in the Boston area.

Chris Goeppner
Pastor & VNE Moderator

Chris is the Lead Pastor at Riverbank Church in Vermont and serves as our Association Moderator. He attended Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida and Word of Life Bible Institute in New York. He responded to the call of Jesus to leave his community of 20 years in South Florida to launch Riverbank Church in 2010. He and his beautiful bride, Penny have been married since 1999. In 2008, the Goeppner’s adopted their two sons, Roman and Jadon, from Siberia. Chris is a sports fanatic, a coffee connoisseur, and a self-proclaimed “beach bum.” He enjoys most flavors of music, fun days with the family, and calling New England “home.”

Bob Atherton
Vice-President, Events

Bob is a Vermont native and currently lives in the seacoast region of New Hampshire. He graduated from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and was a pastor in Massachusetts for 23 years. He has also founded and led two organizations dedicated to eradicating Human Trafficking.


As Vision New England’s Vice President of Member Services, Bob coordinates our Forums, Summits and GoThrive events. Bob has three children and loves connecting New England Christ-followers, telling the stories of what God is doing in the region and inspiring greater collaborations.

Isabelle Monteiro
Project Coordinator

Isabelle is a proud Lowell native and currently resides in the North Shore. She is a current Senior at Gordon College pursing a Mathematics major and a minor in Business Administration. She has held several leadership roles throughout her college career such as the Director of Campus Events, Residence Advisor and Academic Peer Advisor. She gained valuable experience through internships including becoming the Assistant Project Manager at Rapid Micro Biosystems and the Church Administration Intern at Cape Cod Church.


As Project Coordinator, Isabelle assists in coordinating all events including Forums, Summits and Thrive events. Along with her passion for problem solving, Isabelle enjoys spending her time playing music, exploring the outdoors and attending her family’s Brazilian BBQs.
